Cathedral of St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church Cathedral, built on land next to the Saint-Royce Batrsip the church and built by Boutros Boutros-Ghali Pasha.

Located in the district Abbasid. Built in the sixties of the last century, with contributions from President Gamal Abdel Nasser to build the cathedral, several thousands of pounds, attended the opening ceremony, along with Emperor Haile Selassie Emperor of Abyssinia (Ethiopia), and was then Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark is a Bishop Kyrillos VI, who was elected after Pope Shenouda III.
